The pool was a great feature and provided a refreshing escape from the heat. the staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive, making sure that all our needs were taken care of. The location was also excellent, being close to key attractions and amenities in the area. Another advantage was the delicious dinner and breakfast options offered, which added to the overall enjoyable experience.
There were a few things that could be improved. the rooms were not always as clean as we would have liked, which was a bit disappointing.

The air-conditioned double room was fantastic! It had a cozy vibe with lovely garden views. The soundproof walls ensured a peaceful night's sleep. Plus, having a flat-screen TV with cable channels was a nice bonus for relaxing evenings in.
Personally, I found the shared bathroom in the quadruple room a bit inconvenient. Others might not mind, though.

I enjoyed the continental breakfast, it was a great start to my day. Also, the free WiFi was a lifesaver for scrolling through social media and avoiding awkward conversations with strangers.
Who needs a shear kitchen anyways? Definitely not me.

Garden views: The view from my air-conditioned double room was simply picturesque. It felt like stepping into a fairytale, with the lush greenery of the garden creating a tranquil and magical ambiance.
Late breakfast start: The included breakfast was fantastic, but it started a bit too late for early risers. For pilgrims looking to start their day early, a 7:30 am breakfast time can be a bit inconvenient.

We had an amazing stay at a medieval albergue that catered to all our needs as pilgrims. the warm and friendly staff made us feel right at home. the breakfast spread with warm pastries and hot coffee was a delightful start to our day. the facilities were clean and well-maintained, and we particularly enjoyed the giant bathroom with hot water. the communal areas, such as the swimming pool, bar, and guitar, created a sense of community among the guests. We also loved the two cute cats, especially our favorite, Mr
Nothing that I didn't like 😊.

A delightful stay on the Camino! I crossed from Caminha to Tui and found Alvorada Medieval to be the perfect place to rest. Ana and Pedro, the hosts, were wonderful and the communal dinner was a delicious way to connect with other pilgrims. The facilities were clean and excellent, with comfy beds and a refreshing pool. They even offer the opportunity to dry your clothes outside. I would visit again for their great hospitality and tasty Portuguese wine!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

I couldn't believe the value I got for my money at this hotel. The room was comfy and clean, and the location right on the Camino was perfect. The staff, especially Ana, were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home.
Just one small thing to mention about the food for breakfast, it could have been a bit more varied.
